Artwork & Design

It's no secret that for a great print product you need well-prepped artwork. Although it's possible for us to print from a wide range of formats, we get the very best results when your artwork is prepped using the specifications we suggest in our Artwork Guide that you can download to the right.

As well as this guide we offer a free basic check of the resolution, bleed, size, legibility (e.g. thin text) and alignment of your work. For anything else, give us a call. We're happy to help.

Artwork/Layout Service

If you prefer, we can create your artwork/layout for you. This service is charged based on time taken.

FAQs

Can you print from a Word document?

We can, but sometimes formatting, fonts, etc. can change during the transfer from your version of Word to ours. To ensure your document prints as you intend it, it's best to save it as a PDF (use the 'Save As' facility on Word and select PDF from the options). Also ensure that you have set your page size as you intend it, usually A4.

Can you print from PowerPoint?

Again, yes, but due to the possibility of fonts and layout changing during transfer, it's better to save it as a PDF. Please also ensure that you have set the page size as you require it – usually A4. PowerPoint is designed primarily for onscreen display, so its default page size is different.
